On Sunday, June 16, wag your tail all the way down to “Wine & Wags”, an adoption event presented by the Humane Society of Port Jervis/Deerpark.
All are invited to enjoy an afternoon of wine tasting from 2:00-5:00 pm at the Westfall Winery and a chance to meet, pet, and play with some deserving dogs from the shelter that are ready to be adopted and placed into loving, caring homes.
If you meet a four-legged friend at “Wine & Wags” that you just have to take home with you, the process for adopting a dog can begin directly at the event.
Varieties of food will also be served. There is a $25 admission for the wine tasting or for a $30 admission, receive a Humane Society wine glass, too.
The event is open to all ages. For minors, there will be a $5 admission that includes food. A valid ID will be required for wine tasting.
